Lucknow, 22 July : Students of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II celebrated ‘Happy Daddy’s Day’ at the Campus with great pomp and show. On this day, the students presented a spectacular show of educational-cultural items on stage extolling the greatness of their mothers, fathers and teachers and expressing a big ‘Thank you’ to them for their love care and teachings. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp of learning followed by the All Religion and World Peace Prayer. After this, there was the Group Song, World Parliament, musical items, aerobics etc which won the hearts of the audience. The special attraction of the programme was the variety entertainment provided by the parents on this day. The main attraction of the programme was the eager participation of the parents and their joyful presentations on stage. Several competitions were held for the parents which they thoroughly enjoyed like Look Alike, Dance Together, Singing Contest, Paper Folding Dance, Mimicry of Mothers and Three Legged Race etc. In all these competitions, the fathers and their children participated together.

               Many of the parents expressed their thoughts and ideas and praised the institution for providing quality education for their wards. The parents also said that the school is not only giving high quality academic education but also equipping the students with moral values that build a sound character. At the end of the function, the Principal, Mrs Anupama Checker honoured the parents with Citations and Certificates. She said that the school is extremely grateful towards the parents and guardians for their help and support in all its activities. Every child is a gift of God to mankind, she said, and a pride of the human race. We are committed to bringing out the best in each child, she added.
