Lucknow, October 26 : Lucknow is all set to play host to a Grand Music Orchestra being presented at the World Unity Convention Centre, CMS Kanpur Road, Lucknow on October 28, 2023 at 6.00 pm in the evening. Over 300 artistes from 27 countries of the world will be joining in a wonderful amalgamation of melody and culture ushering a world music culture that will delight the audience with its message of Unity in Diversity. Today all these musicians interacted with the press personnel at a press conference held here and explained about their musical presentation. On 28 October, these renowned musicians including 200 choristers and 100 instrumentalists will be presenting renowned German composer, Carl Orff’s famous Carmina Burana as well as volley of solo and group recitals before an eager audience. Present at the press conference, Convenor of the Programme, Senior Principal of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey stated that this international orchestra is an initiative of India National Youth Orchestra, Philharmonic Vienna Orchestra, Austria,  Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), London and City Montessori School being organized under their joint aegis. The international concert will add a new chapter to Indo-Austrian Relations and cultural exchange taking them to new heights of glory in their 75 years of heartwarming friendship and understanding.

           Giving further knowledge about the programme, Mrs Nisha Pandey stated that the magnificent presentation of Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’ will be done in the guidance of Music Maestro, Mr Vijay Upadhyay and it will see a mingling of 100 musical instruments defining musical symphony as never done before. Soloists who will enthral with their singing include well known names like Ms Jinuous Yegan, Soprano, Louis Carlos Hernandez Luque, Tenor and Jubin Amiri, Baritone. Mrs Pandey said that the 27 participating countries include Austria, Argentine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Britain, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany, Egypt, Finland, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, United States of America, Venezuela and India.
