Lucknow, February 5 : Renowned bhajan singer and composer, Anup Jalota, an alumnus of City Montessori School, met the CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi today and expressed his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi. On this occasion, the CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon was also present. The renowned singer of hymns stated that he had a special affection for Dr Jagdish Gandhi and such noble souls rarely appear on earth. Dr Gandhi established milestones in the field of education and worked consistently for the betterment of children’s bright future for which generations will remain indebted to him. On this occasion, Shri Jalota expressed his emotions through a song, “Ek Yug Purush Aaye Mahatma Gandhi, Saatth Karorr Logon Ko Azadi Dilaa Gaye; Doosre Yug Purush Aaye Shri Jagdish Gandhi, Saatth Hazaar Bachhon ko Kabil Bana Gaye.” It may be mentioned that Mr Anup Jalota shares a long and deep association with CMS, having studied in this school. Dr Bharti Gandhi said that Anup Jalota’s presence in this hour of grief and sadness had brought a great solace to her heart and inspired the students and teachers to tread the path shown by Dr Jagdish Gandhi.
