Lucknow, March 23 : District Magistrate of Lucknow, Shri Surya Pal Gangwar, IAS, will be unveiling the festival logo and poster of the 12th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF-2023), organized by Films Division of City Montessori School, tomorrow on Friday, 24 March 2023 at 1.30 pm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. This International Children's Film Festival of CMS is the world's biggest film festival of its kind. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma.

            Mr Sharma informed that this International Children Film Festival (ICFF-2023) will be organized from 10 to 18 April 2023 at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, wherein 612 children's films of 104 countries will be screened absolutely free of charge. During the 9-days of film festival, there will be two shows daily from 9 am to 12 noon and 12 noon to 3 pm. During the film festival, the best children's films will be awarded a total cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh in various categories. A five member international jury representing the film industry of Hungary, Iran and India along with the three CMS students as young jury members will select the best children's films for awards.

            Mr Sharma further informed that through this world's biggest children's film festival, CMS intends to teach child audiences about the wonderful diversity in the world. CMS believes that audio-visual medium like films are the most powerful tools of teaching values to the children because they imprint deep on their tender minds. Therefore, CMS has taken up the responsibility to show good films, free of charge to children and keeping them away from watching vulgar and violent movies.
