Lucknow, March 8 : Extending her best wishes to all the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Dr Bharti Gandhi, Founder Director of City Montessori School and eminent educationist said that women empowerment will bring about a constructive change in the world society and will lead to the realization of the dream of world unity one day. Dr Gandhi was addressing the CMS teachers and staff in a virtual Satsang. Reciting the poem, ‘Nari ho tum ari na reh sake paas tumhare’, she explained every aspect of being a woman and called for their respect and proper representation in society. Even though women have established themselves in every area with their capabilities, talent, and leadership qualities, there is still a lot to be done. Dr Gandhi further said that CMS is playing an important role in women's empowerment for the last many decades.

        Throwing light on the teachings of various religions in the virtual Satsang, especially discussing the importance of women's power in society, all the speakers said in one voice that the constructive upliftment of the society is possible only with the active participation of women in the social system. Describing Dr. Bharti Gandhi as a living example of women empowerment, Mrs. Vandana Gaur, convenor of the Satsang, said that Dr. Gandhi's philosophy of life is very inspiring for the present generation, especially girls and women. She congratulated everyone on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
