Lucknow, February 20 :  At the onset of US President's Donald Trump's arrival to India, City Montessori School (CMS) Founder and Educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi while addressing a Press Conference today in Lucknow appealed to PM Modi and President Trump to consult over the formation of World Parliament to save humanity from complete annihilation.

            Dr Gandhi said that "We hope that US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who will be meeting in India on February 24 and 25, 2020 will consult over the formation of a World Parliament to safeguard the future of 7.5 billion people of the world (including world's over 2.5 billion children) and the generations yet-to-be born whose future has become progressively more insecure and unprotected during past seven decades since the outbreak of the Second World War and the recent spread of International terrorism, global warming, stockpiling of weapons of mass destruction, fear of a 3rd World War and a Nuclear holocaust. The World Parliament should be like that of the European Parliament which is a collaboration of 27 Sovereign European Nations for a shared dream and shared goal of European Unity, Peace and Prosperity and where no country has to give up its sovereignty."

            Dr Gandhi further said that Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Former Prime Minister of India had said "VISHWA SHANTI KE HAM SADHAK HAIN-HAM JANG NA HONE DENGEIN" "We will not let War Happen, We are practitioners of World Peace, will not let war happen." He also said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a very strong believer of the age-old Indian philosophy and ethos of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam' and the Constitution of India (Article 51) which directs the State to endeavour for World Unity and World Peace. PM Modi has recently tweeted: Robust friendship between India and USA augurs well not only for our citizens but also for the entire world.

            Dr Jagdish Gandhi informed that on 23 January 2018, while addressing the Opening Session of the World Economic Forum in Davos in presence of 3000 global participants of over 110 countries PM Modi said: "India from time immemorial has continued to believe in uniting the mankind…concept of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam' (the whole world is one family) is even more relevant in bridging the gaps… adherence to this international system based on the rules has become more important than ever." PM Modi has spoken about World Unity & World Peace on many occasions in India and abroad.

            President Donald Trump during his Presidential campaign promised to the US electorate and his voters on 15 December 2015 in Las Vegas (USA) and had said: I think I'm going to bring unity to the world. That's what I do - I bring peace and I bring unity."

            Dr Gandhi further informed that both Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi & President Donald Trump have promised to bring World Unity and World Peace. This is an opportune time for the two biggest democracies of the world come together for the common good of humanity and work for World Unity and World Peace by establishing a World Parliament like that of the European Parliament which is a collaboration of 27 Sovereign European Nations where no nation is required to give up its sovereignty and each nation works for a shared dream and shared goal of European Unity, Peace and Prosperity.
