Lucknow, November 16 : Chief Justices, Judges, legal luminaries and other eminent personalities from across the globe, who have gathered here at Lucknow to attend the '19th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World' being organized by City Montessori School, opined in one voice at a press conference held here today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium that purpose of their being here together was to lay the foundation for a safe and secure future for over 2.4 billion children of the world and the generations yet to be born. The Prime Ministers, Presidents, Governor-General, Speakers of Parliament, Ministers of Justice, Judges of International Court of Justice, Heads of world renowned Peace organizations from 19 countries as well as more than 370 Chief Justices, Judges and legal luminaries from 71 countries are participating in the conference. These eminent personalities were of the opinion that 'rights for the safe and secure future for the world’s children' is an issue which can only be attained by establishing the unity, peace and harmony in the world. Therefore, international enforceable law is an essential requirement for the world community. Indeed, they said, that City Montessori School has taken a commendable step in this direction by organizing this significant Conference of the World Judiciary. It is worth mentioning here that the 19th International conference of Chief Justices of the World organized from 16 to 20 November has began today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Earlier, this morning, the dignitaries from various countries landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport and were accorded a very warm welcome by CMS students and teachers. With showers of rose and marigold petals and the music of the band, the legal stalwarts were greeted in Lucknow and given a warm welcome.
Addressing the press personnel at the press conference, the Heads of State and legal luminaries said that City Moontessori School is truly an extraordinary school which has taken the initiative to carve a new future for the world’s over 2.4 billion children and generations yet unborn by organizing this unique Conference of the world judiciary and it has also added a new chapter in the history of education by creating such awareness of global issues in the minds of its pupils. They all felt that disunity in the world is the greatest problem today. We must not only be concerned about our own welfare but also the welfare of others, especially our neighbours. Now the time has come, they said, when all the countries must become united through a world judicial system and world laws that can tackle and solve world problems.

Expressing the deep gratitude towards the dignitareis of various countries, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the massive participation by these eminent personalities speaks highly of their commitment to the cause of World Unity and World Peace and clearly points out to the fact that there is no alternative before the world to save mankind from destruction but to take immediate steps towards creation of a New World Order based on unity, peace and justice. He expressed happiness that Prime Ministers, Presidents, Heads of State and Chief Justices and Judges from no less than 71 countries are participating in this conference on the appeal of over 57,000 students of CMS, which is a matter of great pride for Lucknowites. The day is not far, he envisioned, when a powerful World Judicial System will see the light of the day and become a living reality.
Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma infomred that Chief Minister, Hon'ble Shri Yogi Adityanath hosted a lavish dinner in honour of these dignatiries at the Chief Minister's Residence at 5, Kalidas Marg, Lucknow. All the dignitaries were all praises to the goodwill gesture shown by the Chief Minister. Founder of CMS and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister. Ahead of this, these eminent personalities visited New High Court premises.
Mr Sharma informed that the formal inauguration of this historic conference will be held tomorrow on Saturday, 17 November 2018 at 9.00 am at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Minister, Hon'ble Shri Yogi Adityanath will be the Chief Guest on this occasion while the Speaker of UP Legislative Assembly, Hon'ble Shri Hriday Narain Dixit will preside over the function. Ahead of this, on 17th morning, the eminent dignitaries, Chief Justices and judges will be joining the grand World Unity March of CMS students and teachers at 8.00 am from Purani Chungi, Kanpur Road to CMS Kanpur Road auditorium to ignite the flame of World Unity, World Peace and World Law in the hearts of all.
Mr Sharma further informed that In the evening of 17th November tomorrow at 5.30 pm, a grand 'Welcome Ceremony' in honour of the dignitaries from across the globe will be held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Hon'ble Shri J. P. Nadda will be the Chief Guest on this occasion while Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia will be presiding over the Welcome Ceremony. On this occasion, Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia will present the 'Key to the city of Lucknow' to the Chief Justice of South Sudan, Hon'ble Mr Justice Chan Reec Madut for his relentless work in the direction of world unity, peace and justice over the years. Besides, Princess of Thailand, Her Royal Excellency Dr Mom Luang Rajadarasri Jayankura will be honoured with 'Hope of Humanity Award'; Rt. Hon'ble Ms Helena Ann Kennedy, Member of the House of Lords, British Parliament will be honoured with 'Lord Buddha Award' and Dr Hong Tao-Tze, President, Federation of World Peace and Love, USA will be honoured with 'Mahatma Gandhi Award for promoting World Peace'.
